Director of Music/Organist

Experienced, liturgically sensitive 
Organist/Director of Music sought to be part of our team.

 

We take our worship seriously but ourselves less so! 
 

Anglo-Catholic. NEH/NEP. 
Sung Solemn Mass (congregational setting) 
each Sunday morning and on six other holy days
Good Friday Liturgy, Carol Service in Advent.

 

Holdich organ ‘a true gem’.

Small, dedicated, experienced, voluntary choir.

 

Church is a 10-minute walk from Seven Kings Station 
(Elizabeth Line, zone 4, 19 minutes from Liverpool St).
IG1 1TW

 

Starting salary £4000 pa for the above, negotiable after 6 months’ probation.

Additional fees for (very occasional) weddings/funerals/special services. 
Annual ‘departmental’ budget.

Our principal act of worship is a  Sung Solemn Mass every Sunday and on 6 major holy days each year. These are with hymns (mainly NEH/NEP), a congregational Mass setting and - when possible - a simple motet.

​

We are looking for a Director of Music/Organist  with the skills and experience to uphold and enhance our musical tradition and develop the role - within the ethos our church and the resources available – to suit their abilities and goals.
