Faith in Action
The Christian faith calls us to work for the good of all humanity through practical action.
This is part of our Christian witness in the world.
The organisations below are ones which in different ways, St Mary's supports or is associated with. We have a particular ministry to refugees, worked out through our commitment to fight the injustices which cause people to leave their homes and livelihoods against their will. We do this through prayer, social action and hands on engagement.
Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex & London
RAMFEL are our near neighbours on the High Road and for many years we have supported their work among Refugees and Migrants.
We currently offer a collection point for the RAMFEL Foodbank in our foyer and make regular financial donations
London Living Wage
As part of our commitment to social justice, we are proud to be a London Living Wage Employer.
This means that all of our staff, whether employed or self employed are paid at least the hourly London Living Wage
The Children's Society
Formerly the Church of England Children's Society, it is one of the oldest children's charities in the UK.
St Mary's retains an historic link with the work of the society by making regular charitable donations towards its work

Welcome Churches Network
We're proud to be an Associate Member of the Welcome Churches Network.
As a church community we recognise that we have the privilege and opportunity to work with and care for refugees and asylum seekers in a particular way.
No refugee or asylum seeker should be or needs to be alone; we will walk along side those who come to us as equals and partners.
